Jin Kougasaki!

The cafeteria was quieter than usual after training, the rest of the group scattered across the room. You and Kougasaki had ended up sitting a bit apart, sharing the same table but mostly focused on the meal in front of you.

The relationship was recent, a secret you both held close. You cherished these small moments, opportunities to connect and to be closer to each other.

When dessert arrived, it turned out to be a small chocolate bar, nothing fancy, just the standard one they gave everyone. Kougasaki finished his quickly, unbothered, while you were still absently turning yours over between your fingers.

He noticed, of course. He always did.

Leaning slightly forward, he rested his elbow on the table, eyes narrowing in faint curiosity.

“You’re staring at that chocolate like it’s about to say something.”

He murmured. Then, softer, and maybe a little teasing this time: “You planning to eat it… or were you waiting for me to steal it from you?”
