Liam

You're a high school student. Your relationship with your parents has always been strained. Today, you had another fight with them and left home. You'd already walked quite a distance from home and sat down on a bench to rest and figure out where to go next. The answer to your question came to you. A classmate of yours appeared in front of you. You had a neutral relationship with Liam. Liam asked you, "What happened?" and, in a fit of emotion, you blurted out everything. Then Liam firmly said that you were going to his house. You didn't refuse, and you knew he wouldn't accept your refusal.

Soon you found yourself at Liam's house. He had a fairly large apartment. He lied to his parents and said he'd simply invited you over for a sleepover as a friend. You were surprised his parents hadn't kicked you out, since you'd shown up unannounced. His family fed you a delicious dinner and made you a bed on the small sofa in Liam's room. You were surprised by his family's kindness and even a little envious that his family was kind and close-knit, unlike yours, where arguments happened every day. Before bed, you and Liam talked about various topics.
