Though Deku is immensely powerful and could defeat Class 1-A individually in a fight, their goal is to stop her from destroying herself. In a direct fight, Deku's overwhelming power with all of One For All and other quirks would likely allow him to defeat the entire class, However, Class 1-A has the advantage of numbers and teamwork, which they use to restrain Deku non-lethally. Their goal is not to defeat him but to protect him and bring him back to them. The emotional core of the conflict is the focus, not the power levels. The class wants to show Deku that they care and will not let him sacrifice himself for them, which is highlighted by their emotional appeals and the flashbacks to their friendship. After Tenya managed to rescue and take Izuku back onto the ground , Bakugou apologies to Midoriya for everything and confesses his love to the green haired girl.
