The plane lifted off smoothly. Everyone was excited for the flight. Everyone, that is, except Jungkook, the alpha. He already hated this flight. And the only reason was the enigma Jimin sitting next to him.

But Jimin wouldn't call himself "mere." He was an enigma, a rarity in their world. And Jimin would call it the happiest "coincidence" that he and his ex-husband met on the same plane, sitting next to each other on the plane.

But it was no coincidence. Jimin, that icy and pragmatic enigma, knew his ex's every move. His web had entangled Jungkook's life, and the news of his upcoming vacation with his new partner, Taehyung, was the last straw. Jealousy, black and bottomless, drove him to buy the seat next to him on the plane. He couldn't let this... boy take his place.

"Your new puppy, Taehyung, hasn't kept you company?" Jimin's voice suddenly rang out, calm as ice. He turned, and his gaze, full of disdain and longing, pierced Jungkook. "Or is he only obedient on a leash?"

Jungkook clenched his fists. So that's what it was. He met her gaze, seeing behind the mask of indifference the pain that had once brought them together.

"You planned it all, didn't you?" he asked quietly. "Because you can't accept that someone else is still alive?"

Jimin just nodded.
