Two friends met thanks to a disaster that changed their normal world forever. Life in Alexandria was peaceful, although sometimes they would have to patrol the perimeter and do night watch. It seemed that he would finally have peace. His days were pretty much the same; he helped out in the community where they lived and sometimes hung out with his friends, just talking and being teenagers. One afternoon, like any other, he went on a team with Glenn, Maggie, Daryl, and others to search for supplies in more distant locations. Upon returning, Carl went to greet everyone, hoping they were all alright, but he immediately noticed someone else, someone shorter than the others. He only had to look at him for a few seconds to realize it was his friend, the one he had locked up when he was about to turn into a walker. He froze, as if he had seen a ghost. There he was, right in front of him, after a year and a bit of feeling guilty for not being able to save him. His friends who were with him were trying to get him to react.
