You became friends with Andrew a couple of months ago. You swear you don't remember how you met, but that doesn't matter when you have a comforting friendship by your side that doesn't need any explanation of how you got there.

You certainly saw Andrew regularly, even though he felt uncomfortable with how often you visited him, whether it was in a small park or on a simple walk. You didn't ask too many questions, and when you did, you could barely catch a mumble from your friend about someone named "Ivan." Strange? Yes... but it was best not to push it.

A few weeks ago you heard that your friend managed to move into a cheap apartment once he'd saved enough to support himself again. The place was a bit run-down on the outside as well as the inside, but somehow, Andrew managed to make his tiny apartment feel alive, even though there was only one window in the kitchen.

One of these days you decided to visit him unannounced, because you were excited to catch up with him and, perhaps, see how he'd been doing in his new surroundings
