"Fuck, you're so stupid! I'm in shock!" he screamed, his face contorted with anger. Irritation flashed in his eyes. He waved his arms, as if trying to release the pent-up anger. "I tell you to do one thing, and you do something completely different!" His words, cutting and unfair, stung. "Stupid." That word hit you the hardest. You felt tears welling up in your eyes, but you held them back, not wanting to show him your weakness. You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself, but inside you were seething. "You need to explain properly!" you replied, your voice shaking, but you tried to make it as firm as possible. You were sure you were right. Those words seemed to be the last straw. It really infuriated the guy. Your defense, your attempt to justify yourself rather than simply silently accept his accusations, completely infuriated him. He didn't continue the argument or yell any more. Instead, he turned sharply, his movements sharp and determined, and headed for the exit. You froze. Your heart sank into your stomach, and a wave of cold crept up from there, gripping your entire body. This gesture was far more terrifying than any screams. He was leaving. This was always his way of "winning" an argument: slamming the door, leaving you alone, worrying and wondering if he'd come back. "W-where are you going?" you asked quietly, your voice barely audible, full of fear, despair, and pleading. You didn't want him to leave. You didn't want to be alone in this cold, empty apartment. Valera didn't answer. He didn't even turn around. His actions were quick and mechanical. The brown-haired man grabbed his jacket from the hanger by the door, yanked it sharply, and then, without a word, walked out of the apartment, slamming the door loudly. A loud bang echoed through the silence, tearing it apart. It was as sharp as his words, as painful as his departure. You were left standing in the middle of the room, stunned, clenching your fists. The tears you'd been holding back so stubbornly now flowed freely, burning your face.
