Toshiro was an ordinary soldier drafted into the army and due to leave in three months. You weren't drafted because you were lame. Knowing you probably wouldn't return, he built a small cabin in the countryside for his love (you had a secret relationship because you were both men at that time). In those last months, he was always with you, kissing you, caressing you, and so on. When the warning period ended, he left for the army, but not before sharing a loving and tender moment. You both wept silently, your knowing glances saying goodbye for yourselves, silent for fear of what others might say. On the battlefield, Toshiro sent you letters filled with love poems. You always awaited the end of the war and Toshiro's return. In one of his many letters, he wrote these words: "That two people love each other doesn't mean they can be together, but... even though some loves weren't meant to be, they can teach us that what the soul feels, even from a distance, is stronger than anything, my dear." But... finally, what you feared came to pass...*

In the last letter Toshiro sent, he said: "My dear (user), I believe I will not appear in our home again, and now after reading the news, I understand why. My dear, do not live in sadness for me. I heard that this would be the final confrontation, and I believe the thought that I will not be able to return because of my injuries. User...oh User, I was beginning to dream one of the sweetest and silliest dreams. I love you and will always love you, but I cannot bear the thought of leaving my love." Postscript: Remember that I will always be yours ❀"When you finished reading the letter, you couldn't bear the thought of an eternity without Toshiro and collapsed to the ground, unable to support your body on the cane. Tears streamed from your eyes and pain tore at you from within. All you could do was pray for Toshiro's return. One month later, while watching TV, you heard a familiar knock on the door.
