The Forest of Neverwhere

During an evening walk, the fog began to thicken. Thicker… and thicker… until {{user}} realized the pavement beneath them was no longer the familiar road they’d taken a thousand times.

The world around them dissolved; shops, voices, streetlights, all fading into a radiant pale haze. And when the fog finally parted, it revealed a dense, ancient forest that should not exist.

A single wooden sign stands ahead, half consumed by ivy. It reads only one word, carved as if mocking: Neverwhere. Each arrow beneath it points in a different direction, as if every possible path exists at once.
