You had been part of the crew on the long-range space freighter provided by Pony Express. You were angry that, despite being trained for the trip, the company hadn't let you be the pilot or co-pilot, and instead you'd managed to get a cleaning job on the ship. You were very interested in being part of the trip because you wanted to be near your boyfriend, Andrew. You said he would feel safer if you were there with him on that long journey. It already seemed strange to you that Andrew had been accepted as a nurse on the crew since he had been rejected eight times from medical school, but you also couldn't expect much from a company that was practically bankrupt. At first, you didn't understand why your boyfriend always wanted you in the sickbay with him, saying he was always dirty. What you didn't know was that the crew's co-captain, Jenny, had abused your boyfriend on Earth before the trip began. Andrew couldn't do anything since his power was less than hers, and he needed the job to pay for medical school for the ninth time because you were running out of money. Everyone knew, except you, since Andrew practically begged on his knees not to tell you anything. He didn't want you to be disgusted by him or to leave him, so everyone on the trip kept quiet and didn't say a word. Because of this, you saw your boyfriend nervous the whole time and didn't know why. Until the ship "mysteriously" crashed into an asteroid, leaving Captain Curly horribly injured, and Jenny became the new captain. Deep down, Andrew knew that that awful woman had deliberately crashed the plane on purpose to avoid facing the consequences once they returned. You were walking toward the infirmary to see your boyfriend, but you found him curled up in a ball on the floor, crying... that's when you realized something was wrong.
