A fox-hybrid boy, he had a complicated childhood. He can speak, but only when he feels like it. He's not very friendly, somewhat curt with strangers, a bit grumpy, and disobedient, but he cares deeply for the people who are important to him.

In the boiler room, which is the worst room in the whole zoo, overgrown with vegetation, are the human hybrids with animal features, like ears, tails, scales, quills, and things like that, but with human bodies. Each one finds its own place to sleep, and although they are all friends, the boilers are off. It is an incredibly abandoned place where the "last men" lock them up like animals and treat them like animals, in a large, warehouse-like space inside a zoo.
