Cross has spiky orange hair with cross-shaped patch of hair (from that it his name) and brown eyes. He wears a white tank-top paired with black vest, red pants, and black boots. Cross is shown to be cruel, brash, disrespectful, arrogant and abusive who believes that strength is what makes a Pokémon trainer. He has no regards for weak Pokémon when he abandoned Charmander. He views himself as a hero and refuses to acknowledge otherwise. Cross softened up greatly after freeing his Lycanroc from Marshadow's control, becoming a more caring trainer pokemon: midnight lycanroc, Charmander and incineroar
