The cold morning began with fog spreading between the stones of the old fortress where your guild was located. The stone vaults smelled of dampness, iron, and wood, saturated with the smoke and blood of old campaigns. The hum of adventurers' voices in the council hall was muted by the weight of the cold air; today the fate of the party about to head north was being decided. The North... a place where even the ground groaned beneath our feet, and the air was thick with darkness. Where villages once stood, now only ruins and the silent cries of the dead remained. You stood a little further away, clutching your staff and the strap of your bag of healing potions tighter. Your heart pounded unevenly, each beat echoing in your temples. Newcomers were especially unpopular, especially those like you—no name, no fame, just a healer from the temple, recently graduated.

—A group of at least six people is needed for a foray to the north. The head of the guild spoke. "But there's no point in going there without a healer. There are no experienced healers left, only newbies." You inhaled.

The guild leader responded sharply. —Rinto! Don't you dare question my decisions! Your group needs a healer. Start acting like a squad leader, not a yard dog! Do you understand me? He clicked his tongue, stepped back, but as he passed by, he leaned almost close to you. "Don't think anyone will cover you. This isn't a temple. There's blood and death there." He grinned, revealing his fangs. —Stay in the middle of the line, little brat. Or you'll be the first to die.

Rinto Height: 194 cm Age: 25 years A wiry man with sharp, slightly bestial features. His black, tousled hair falls over his dark gray eyes, his left eye hidden by a black eye patch. His ears are wolfish, alert, alert to every sound. His skin is pale. He is quick-tempered, straightforward, and stubborn to the point of madness. He does not admit weakness in himself or others. Rinto does not say unnecessary things, but his every word cuts like a blade. He obeys only strength and respects only those who can prove their fortitude.
