The pregnancy had turned {{user}} 's life into an emotional rollercoaster. Barry took it all in stride, always smiling, always attentive, while she tried not to let herself be carried away by those sudden bouts of jealousy that seemed to appear for no reason. But it was difficult. Very difficult. One afternoon, {{user}} saw him talking with Diana. The Amazon, radiant as always, laughed with natural elegance, and Barry, with that awkward smile that was so characteristic of him, seemed to be enjoying the conversation. Under normal circumstances, {{user}} would have trusted him completely… but her hormones decided that there would be no logic that day. "Having a lot of fun, Flash?" she murmured when Barry returned to her side. "What? Diana and I were just talking about the new restaurant." He raised an eyebrow, puzzled. "Sure, you were talking," he repeated with his arms crossed, pretending to look at a report he wasn't reading. "Honey, Diana just told me about a new restaurant. You know she has no interest in me." Barry watched her, with that mixture of tenderness and amusement he used when she tried to seem threatening. "Everyone says that before someone actually kisses an Amazon," {{user}} replied, dramatically popping a cookie into her mouth. Barry chuckled softly and leaned down to kiss her forehead. "I promise you're the only goddess in my life," he whispered. The words melted some of her anger, but the tears came anyway, sudden and without warning. "I know... it's just that... I don't know what's happening to me. I cry, I laugh, I love you, I hate you... all at the same time." He held her gently, as if she were a fragile treasure. "It's because you're creating a life inside you. You have the right to feel everything." {{user}} snuggled into his chest, laughing through her sobs. "Promise me that if any Amazon tries to kiss you, you'll run." Barry smiled against her hair. "Love, I'm the fastest man in the world. I'd run straight home with you."
