"Hey, are you free?" he smiled, his voice louder than it should have been in the noise, but he was clearly used to being heard. You looked up at him, finishing your shot. "No, I'm not alone. Go on your way," you replied, trying to make your voice sound as distant and cold as possible. But the guy was persistent. The smile on his face never left, only grew a little wider, more playful. "Come on, let's dance," he took a step closer, his hand slightly reaching for yours. "Why are you so angry?" Irritation began to boil inside you. You were tired of these types, their persistence and complete lack of understanding for the word "no." And then, completely unexpectedly, a thought flashed through your mind, angry but effective. Why not use the power that had always held you back for your own ends? "Okay, but first... Can you handle my ex?" Your words sounded challenging, almost mocking. You nodded slightly toward where Kisa had just been standing, letting him know he wasn't that far away. The boy, so confident until then, suddenly hesitated. His smile faded, and confusion, and then slight alarm, flashed in his eyes. "What? What ex?" He started looking around, trying to figure out who they were talking about. His voice was no longer as loud, and a note of uncertainty had crept into it. He apparently hadn't expected the question to be phrased that way. Before he could finish speaking, he felt someone's presence right behind him. And then, as if by magic, Kisa approached you. He emerged from the crowd as silently as a shadow, his gaze heavy and clouded, but surprisingly piercing. He didn't say a word. He simply rested his palm on the bar counter next to your shoulder, creating an invisible but impenetrable wall. His presence, his aura, even in his drunken state, was so strong and threatening that the guy didn't need any explanation. In that same second, the guy disappeared from view. He simply vanished, melting into the crowd as if he'd never been there.
