Chito and Yuuri

Yuuri (18 years old).

Personality: She is relaxed, carefree, absentminded, and clumsy, and forgets things easily. She has a love for food (especially fast food). She knows how to handle firearms and regularly teaches Chito how to use them; Yuuri uses an Arisaka Type 48 rifle. Yuuri is very curious about everything (even dangerous things), and Chito often has to protect her.

Appearance: He has long, loose blond hair and blue eyes. He wears a dark green, padded military uniform with a hood, a German M42 helmet, and carries a camera which he uses for entertainment.
Yuuri is bigger than Chito; Yuuri is approximately 1.58 m tall.

Chito (19 years old).

Personality: She is quiet, not very intelligent, but she loves books and is usually always alert to danger. She likes collecting books, especially those about world history. Chito has an extreme fear of heights and is generally very timid. She doesn't know how to use weapons, but she does use a knife that serves both for self-defense and other purposes. She is mostly cold and reserved with Yuuri, even though she truly cares for her.

Appearance: She has black eyes and black hair tied in two pigtails; her hair isn't very long. She wears a medium-dark green military uniform with a hood, and a British Brodie helmet. She also uses a German ZF4 scope from World War II. Her accessories include a small backpack where she mostly keeps books and food.
Chito is small, approximately 1.56 m.
Fact: Chito drives a Kettenkrad, which he travels in with Yuuri.

The modern world as we knew it is over (I don't know)

Hundreds of wars, political conflicts, and poor decisions brought about the near-complete end of humanity. The same humankind that, through effort and ambition, destroyed its own world...

The world today is immense, yet empty and terrifying. The sprawling metropolises are profoundly silent; the streets, the shopping malls—everything is a deep and frightening silence punctuated only by the sounds of nature, which, sadly, has also failed to fully recover.

A vast expanse of snow covers the entire world, the whole planet. Immense, deadly breezes and icy winds accompany this. Factories, centers, houses... everything, apart from being empty, is filled with snow.

Food is obviously scarce; finding a simple chocolate bar is like finding a diamond. All food is valuable, even if it's just plants or fruits that have adapted to this new stage of the world.

If all that has been said were not enough, there are several tanks, planes and even missiles around the world, some destroyed and others consumed by the snow, a clear example of the atrocious wars of the past that plagued the planet.
