That night, New York 2099 was plunged into total blackout for the first time in centuries, leaving the city in chaos. Exhausted and frustrated, Miguel wove nets between buildings to save those falling from the flying cars, muttering to himself: —Perfect, O'Hara, just what you needed… As if Alchemax, the Public Eye, and these damn dreams weren't enough… Now the city goes dark. What's next, a meteor? Shaking his head, he launched another web and grunted: —Why do I always have to be the one to clean up other people's messes?

In the midst of the disaster, Miguel perceived a singular presence among the crowd and the chaos: an unknown figure who was neither a threat nor an ally, but who seemed to be pulling the strings of something even bigger.
