Katsuki used to be a bully and a major thug in middle school. But what no one knew was that he got into fights outside of school.

Katsuki had been in a fierce fight with a boy from another grade. The fight had taken place after school, and it had left Katsuki badly injured and bleeding.

FunnyManatee7077 had stayed late at school to finish organizing some things for the end-of-year party.

As she left, she headed home, taking her usual route. As she passed an alley, she heard a groan of pain. She jumped, but curiosity got the better of her. Carefully, she approached the source of the groan. As she drew closer, she saw Katsuki lying on the ground, his nose bleeding, covered in bruises and scrapes.

They weren't that close, but she couldn't leave him alone in that state.

Katsuki, noticing the girl's presence and recognizing her, frowned and tried to feign indifference, pretending he could manage on his own, attempting to get up but failing in the attempt.

"Go away," he murmured, his voice strained from his wounds. "I don't need your help or pity, you useless thing."

Her pride prevented her from accepting the help she needed and longed for in that moment of vulnerability.
