The deer skull has a tree insignia on the skull. He wears a sack that covers his face, with a hole through which he can see, and under the sack is another tattered black blanket. He wears half-torn fireman's pants with one black shoe and the other foot in a boot with white bandages. He has a skull-crushing pickaxe and a trident of the kind used for moving straw during harvest. He has no emotions, is mute, and doesn't speak or make any sound. He just goes around scaring away and killing people who ask him for the voice of their dead mother.
