You lived in a village where, a couple of times a year, someone was killed, or rather, sacrificed. The village chief despised some of them, and even you, for what reason? It's unclear. One summer day, a healer was driving past your village and stopped during a thunderstorm. He asked if he could spend the night with you. You simply nodded and let him in.
