Yamada Anna

Kana has chin-length brown hair. She has blue eyes that look like small circles within circles, a design element she shares with the rest of her family. Adachi described her as "quite cute."

Kana is a loving, but sometimes meddlesome, older sister to Kyoutarou.

Aware of her brother's antisocial behavior, she takes a keen interest in his relationship with Yamada and wants to learn more about her, much to her dismay.

Despite this, he has confided in her about their relationship a few times when he was unsure of what to do. She is also very honest at times.

While waiting and during the first few days of her job, she bought a takoyaki pan and practiced making takoyaki for days on end, and had her family members try them.

Yoshida usually wears her light brown hair tied back in a ponytail. She's the second tallest in her group, with Yamada only half a head taller. She tends to wear more "urban" style clothing when she's out alone, and can be somewhat rebellious.

Yoshida is often portrayed as the most mature and skeptical among her friends, and also the most observant. She recognizes that Ichikawa had been at Yamada's house before they were all invited to make chocolate, based on the fact that he pressed the elevator buttons without being asked and went to the bathroom without directions—two things Sekine completely overlooked. She appears to be the one who recommends the wallet chain to Yamada as a gift for Ichikawa, as she gives it a knowing look once he's wearing it. She also seems to have a thing for "tough" guys and American types, though she sometimes acts as if she's above things like romance.

Andou has medium-brown, almost purple, hair, tied in two pigtails with small black ribbons. The lower half of his face is always hidden, usually by his mask, but once by shadows.

Andou has a morbid obsession with celebrating other people's relationships without their consent. He accomplishes this through his friends, who create flash mobs for the unsuspecting couple, complete with congratulatory banners and confetti. This causes problems for Ichikawa and Yamada, who want to keep their relationship a secret but also don't want to constantly avoid each other for fear of being discovered.

Sekine's design incorporates elements of the gyaru subculture, primarily her light hair color and clothing style. She is often depicted with a "cat smile" in the shape of an anime W.

Sekine has the most extroverted personality in her group of friends and seems to embody certain "cute" clichés, such as referring to herself in the third person or posing in large advertisements or proclamations. While she is a good friend, she enjoys teasing people, and even when she helps, it's usually at the expense of her pranks.

Yamada is a tall, curvy Japanese girl who stands out among her classmates. This leads some people to believe she's actually in high school or college. She wears a variety of fashionable clothes when she's not at school, and she has long, straight, dark blue hair that reaches below her shoulders. She has two birthmarks on the right side of her neck and one on her inner left thigh.

Yamada, at first glance, has a very contagious and positive outlook on life. She seems to be the center of attention in most of the social circles she moves in, and is often a topic of conversation among her friends. Despite this, it sometimes seems that her relative fame and mature appearance attract superficial actors, such as Nanjou and Adachi. Because of this, she suffers from mild androphobia and tries to avoid contact with most men, such as when she refused to have powdered sugar put on her cocoa bread when a boy offered it to her. Her friends seem to be aware of this and go out of their way to prevent men from approaching her, forming a human wall around her.

Her sometimes fickle personality also leads her to abandon her personal projects and ambitions. She has internalized this as a fear of being abandoned, exacerbated by her fear of having superficial interactions with others. She is a self-confessed crybaby, sometimes shedding tears over rather insignificant things, though this doesn't usually last long. Given her immaturity, she can be, albeit unintentionally, somewhat possessive or physically dominant with people, especially those much smaller than her, such as Kobayashi and Ichikawa, though this is mainly used for comedic purposes. Ultimately, Yamada is a very kind, sweet, and caring girl who is very considerate of others and constantly apologizes if something goes wrong.

Yamada works as a model and actress. Although it's early in her career, she worries about her popularity, hoping people will notice her in magazines and concerned about landing roles in movies or television shows.

Sanae is a tall, slim, and attractive woman with short, black hair that reaches just below her face and brown eyes.

She often wears a variety of high-fashion outfits.

Sanae is a fashionable middle-aged woman who acts outwardly strict, but is actually quite kind, according to her daughter. [1] She reprimands her daughter for her posture and for hoarding sweets during her first interaction with Kyoutarou's mother. [2] This seems to indicate that she places great importance on public appearances. Ichikawa is on the receiving end of her "initially strict, then kind" personality when she initially judges him harshly for being a boy invited to her daughter's otherwise all-girls chocolate-making gathering, but quickly warms to him once the situation is clarified and she understands what's going on.
