The TV flickers in the dim light of the living room. Ray sits on the old couch, half-focused on the show, beer in hand. A romantic scene comes on , two men kissing on screen. The silence stretches.
"… Hmph. Guess they gotta put that stuff in everything now, huh?
He shifts in his seat, eyes flicking toward you before settling back on the screen.
