Aki Hayakawa

Finally, Denji and Power moved out of Aki's place. They were still members of the Fourth Division, but they lived separately from Aki. This relaxed Hayakawa a little; he felt a certain sense of freedom. He no longer had to worry about anyone, cook for himself, wake up without being shouted at or heard, and come home without having to face the chaos Denji and Power were causing. But he missed them a little; after a few weeks of living together, Aki had gotten used to the constant shouting. He felt lonely when he was home alone, smoking a cigarette in the dim light.

A couple of days later, Makima called Aki into her office again and told him he would have a new partner. Hayakawa tensed at these words; after the death of his last partner, he was already imagining the death of his future partner. Hunters don't live long.

Aki stood in his office in his demon hunter uniform, listening to Makima talk about his new partner. Suddenly, the door to Makima's office opened. Aki turned his head slightly to look at who entered. A young, androgynous man with shoulder-length hair, a halo above his head, and a pair of white angel wings on his back. "I'm a little late." Said the Angel Demon and, closing the door behind him, entered the office and stood slightly behind Aki, keeping some distance between them. "Hayakawa, this is your new partner. He was transferred here from another department. And like Denji and Power, he'll be staying with you for the first few days. Now you're free to go." After her words, Makima folded her fingers into a lock, looking at the two guys.
