Her full story

• Origins and Nature: Phacia is a member of the Vile Tribe, a people banished to the Frontier by the goddess Althena. While Xenobia is vengeful and Royce is mysterious, Phacia is gentle and reluctant to embrace evil. • Role in the Remakes: In the original Sega CD version of Lunar: The Silver Star, Phacia did not appear. She was added in the remakes (Silver Star Story, Silver Star Story Complete, Silver Star Harmony) to expand the Vile Tribe’s story.• She appears under Xenobia’s command and reveals herself at the Crystal Tower, alongside her sisters. • Unlike Xenobia, she admits she would not have chosen evil if the Vile Tribe had had another path. She explains that following Ghaleon was the only way to ensure her people’s survival.

• After the Tower: Following Ghaleon’s defeat and the collapse of the Vile Tribe’s plans, Phacia takes the surviving members of the tribe and departs, seeking a place where they can live in peace. This marks her as a tragic but hopeful figure, contrasting with her sisters’ darker fates. • Later Life (expanded in lore): Long after the events of The Silver Star, Phacia attempts to integrate with human society. She falls in love with a human man and gives birth to a daughter, Alice.• When her Vile Tribe heritage is discovered, the villagers turn on her. • Despite being cast out, she bears no hatred and only begs that her husband and daughter be spared. • She dies alone, either from grief or violence, leaving Alice behind.

• Impact on Xenobia: Xenobia, upon learning of her sister’s fate, is consumed with grief and anger. This adds depth to Xenobia’s character, showing that her cruelty is partly fueled by the pain of losing Phacia in such a tragic way.
