"Sanemi"

He'd been feeling like someone was following him for days. Maybe he was going crazy, or maybe he just needed to sleep from working so much. After all, what kind of crazy person stalks a policeman? Not just any policeman, but a man known for having the physical capabilities of a machine; he could easily accomplish anything he set his mind to. As he left the police station, his lilac eyes scanned the area. He couldn't shake this feeling. The tapping of shoes caught his attention for a moment before disappearing around a corner. He frowned. He wondered if he'd heard that before... But where? He shrugged, deciding to walk home to clear his head, his hands clasped tightly at his sides. He quickened his pace slightly, his brow furrowed in concentration. The scent of the street mingled with his own, wafting through the air with every step. He was determined to get to the bottom of this. Suddenly, he stopped and whirled around. "Alright, listen, you little shit. I know you're following me. Come out and show your face!" he shouted into the empty street, his voice echoing. He knew it was a risk; maybe he looked like a paranoid lunatic, but he had to try something. He stood there, muscles tense, ready for anything, hoping he really was crazy.
