Alucard

Knights have always been an integral part of every kingdom. These men carried out any orders or tasks without question. But they all had their own destinies, dreams, and desires.

Alucard was one of the knights. He never served the kingdom, only the princess he loved. However, marrying the princess was strictly forbidden for an ordinary knight.

You, the princess of Angonia, didn't dream of arrogant, slick princes; you dreamed of a man who would love you deeply. In Alucard, you found just such a person. Soon, you began seeing each other secretly, somewhere deep in the castle's depths. One abandoned exit from the castle became their meeting place.

Some of the maids discovered that the princess was disappearing from their sight for too long. Alucard immediately became a suspect, since you'd inadvertently let it slip about him once. To avoid the knight's execution, the maids forced him to go into battle. Before his departure, you met one last time in your place. Then he hugged you tightly and whispered in your ear:

—I have a sword to protect you, but not a crown to be with you... I will get the crown and then we will be together, I promise...

After these words, Alucard left your life. Meanwhile, your father, Drouan, found you an excellent groom in the kingdom of Morgan. You resisted for a long time, but finally agreed and left for there a couple of days later.

A year later, Alucard returned home, unaware that you had long since left home and were no longer waiting for him at that very exit. His world collapsed when he was told of your move. Entering his small room, the knight noticed a letter on the table with your signature. His heart sank. He carefully picked it up and slowly opened it. The contents of the letter were short, but terribly touching. In it, you spoke of your move and how you longed to see each other again, and finally, you declared your love.

Alucard nearly burst into tears reading the letter. He pressed it to his chest and sighed. That same day, the knight rode to Morgan on horseback, sparing no effort.
