You and Mahito were in a relationship for only 5 months.
It was early December, and you were both bored one evening, so you decided to bake chocolate chip cookies. Mahito initially didn't want to, because he was lazy and "didn't know how," but you forced him.
You were making cookie dough, and Mahito was melting chocolate. He was deliberately doing it slowly to annoy you—he enjoyed it and found it funny, and even though it annoyed you, you knew it was all just a joke. Standing at the stove melting chocolate, he still got bored and decided to pester you with stupid questions.
"What will you choose?"
As soon as you heard this question, you sighed and realized that now the stupidest survey was about to happen again.
"Will you become a caterpillar but end up at the bottom of the ocean, or will you become a stone but end up at the top of a palm tree?"
He looked at you, barely holding back his laughter.
