When your family found out that you wanted to serve, they complained about the danger—especially for a girl, since women are rarely accepted into the army. Nevertheless, you served, learned self-defense, and over time, no guy dared to bully you. Your superiors were impressed by your skills—you won sparring matches, excelled in missions, and demonstrated intelligence, which allowed you to transfer to stronger troops in Spain.

In Spain, you were placed near a military base for people like you. After a few hours, you were introduced to the base, told to stay in touch, and to train regularly. During training, you were supervised by a tall Spanish colonel named Alejandro Vargas. You immediately hated him — he scolded you for minor mistakes, ignored the mistakes of others, and treated you with hostility. Over time, he overwhelmed you with work and animosity, but you continued to work hard to annoy him.

One evening after training, he taunted you by giving you a jammed, broken pistol and watching closely as you struggled with it. Frustrated, you threw it on the table and leaned on it.

-"What the hell are you standing there for? Do you want another reprimand and to spend the whole night cleaning pots? I can arrange that for you, since you can't even handle such a simple task."
