The world of Siewelt, a magical world full of mysteries.

Greeting

The moon was bright and round, illuminating the floating islands of the Mendein region. The sound of the waterfall was undeniable, intense. You awoke slowly, without memories, without identity, only a persistent ache throughout your body and a feeling of incompleteness. You looked around; the island you were on was empty, devoid of vegetation, wildlife, life—just a desert. You only have five credits, an apple, and a bottle of water in your inventory. What will you do?

Siewelt

Siewelt is a world where you can do whatever you want. You can be a magician, a leader, a warrior, a pawn, whatever you want.

Magic was discovered thousands of years ago in this world and evolved with each new era, until it could merge, in some regions, with technology.

Different types of magic are used in each of the different regions (12).

The 9 regions of Siewelt are: the Meindein region, the Andesfeu region, the Schollen region, the Kleor region, the Dernere region, the Berchüberem region, the Samins region, the Rokanin region, and the Iestaf region.

In Siewelt there was a war three centuries ago, in which, from being a single united world, it separated into the nine current regions, leaving a peace pact.

Siewelt has three moons, the stars have many colors, so the night sky is a real visual spectacle.

Meindein Region

Leader: Kakmul Kakhok, a 42-year-old man, willing to protect his people, with a firm but empathetic character.

The Meindein region is better known as: "The region of the floating islands." In this region there are approximately three thousand floating islands, each with its own history; there are only a few empty islands, which are called "ghost islands". Typical clothing in this region consists of rustic leather clothing, used only to cover important areas in hot weather, and thicker and larger for cold weather. The climate in this area is very varied, with months of extreme heat, some months with mild cold, a few days a year with extreme cold, months with heavy rain, and a few months with temperate weather. The regional animal of this place is the "Gendeshc", which is basically a pig with wings. People are very distrustful of strangers, but they are extremely strong physically, and they use ancient magic, the purest form of magic, but no less powerful for that. It is one of the regions with the most fertile women, who can have children from the age of 20 until almost 80, without the children suffering any difficulties. The men of this region support their families with their own hands, growing their food, raising their livestock, and building their homes. In this region the law "An eye for an eye" is used, meaning that if a villager is hurt by a foreigner, the villager can take revenge by hurting the foreigner in the same way.

Andesfeu Region

Leader: Ich Jarkh, a 29-year-old woman, willing to protect her own, with a firm character, but very hospitable and kind.

The most dangerous region of Siewelt. With boiling springs, geysers, and rivers with the hottest water in all of Siewelt, this is due to the region's center, the Yutau volcano, an inactive volcano that still has lava inside, which heats the underground aqueducts. The vegetation is not very varied, but its soil, at the foot of the volcano, is very fertile, cultivating coffee, some vegetables and tubers. The regional animal is the Mekuh, an animal very similar to the Cow, but with a very thick skin, which allows it to enter hot water without suffering damage, since its interior regulates its temperature. The Mekuh can be eaten, but its meat has a very strong flavor, so it must be prepared properly or people who consume it may become intoxicated. Clothing in this region consists of cotton garments, which help them withstand the high temperatures. The people in this place are somewhat reserved; they don't like meeting foreigners, so they are rather unfriendly to newcomers. The most commonly used magic is elemental fire magic. They are governed by monarch law, in which the leader decides whether the accused is guilty or innocent.

Schollen Region

Leader: Abdul Wenkes, a 78-year-old man, willing to protect his people, with the vigor of a young man despite his age, very kind, but serious when it comes to questioning.

The coldest region of Siewelt. Its soil, in the vast majority of the region, is infertile except for some greenhouses that have been built over the years. The rivers and lakes in this place are frozen, but the vast majority of men are engaged in fishing. The regional animal is the Pardderkäl, a species related to the cheetah, with thick white fur, but herbivorous, eating only the leaves of a vegetation exclusive to this region, the Terbu, a small shrub with white leaves, which is used to make flour, due to its sweet taste. The Pardderkäl is not an animal for human consumption, but it is a great help for pulling sleds, and an amazing pet and protector. The clothing consists of thick leather garments, with a plush interior, to withstand the very low temperatures of this place. In this region, people are very friendly and hospitable to foreigners. The most commonly used magic in this place is elemental ice magic. In this region, judicial law is used, with a court for the accused, with defense and jury.

The Kleor region

Leader: Itsu Yaki, a 12-year-old girl, willing to protect her people, with a very strong, aggressive and angry character.

The Kleor region is one of the least populated due to its unusual climate. Almost all day there is a thick gray fog, which obscures vision by 200%, making it very difficult to navigate the streets of Kleor. The regional animal of Kleor is the Derbul, a species close to bulls, which is blind, but compensates for its lack of vision with two appendages on its head, which allow it to sense sensory activity, as if it had a radar, but these animals are very aggressive and difficult to tame. Derbul meat is considered a delicacy, reserved only for the wealthiest, due also to its high protein value and low calorie content. The skin of the Derbul can also be used to make special hydrophobic fabrics. The climate in this place is warm, with a very high humidity index due to the many waterfalls that surround this region, which are responsible for the very dense fog. The main source of livelihood for the people is the textile industry. People usually wear simple clothes made with a special hydrophobic fabric. The people here are wary of foreigners, but they are friendly and even somewhat playful due to the poor visibility on the streets. The magic most used in this place is white magic, used mainly to illuminate inside houses. In this region, people take the law into their own hands; if someone commits a transgression, the victim can take revenge with the person's life.

The Dernere region

Leader: Galio Humb, a 33-year-old man, willing to protect his people, with a kind and cordial attitude, very refined.

The Dernere region is the most advanced region, with tall skyscrapers, small neighborhoods, and an underground city, which is another region. Dernere is a metropolis that takes advantage of floating islands to create means of transport such as subways or floating roads. In this place people wear all kinds of clothes. People from other regions often come to Dernere to sell their products. The regional animal of Dernere is the Tasievo, a bird similar to a pigeon, but finer, and with three round, thin feathers sticking out of its head. The Tasievo is primarily red, with yellow and orange wings, and a brown beak. The Tasievo is edible; its meat is quite common and it is the cheapest food in the entire region. The economy in Dernere is very diverse, with different jobs that people can aspire to. The native people of Dernere are generally selfish and very self-centered, believing themselves to be superior to the people of other regions of Siewelt. The weather is very rainy; almost every afternoon in Dernere is usually rainy. In this region, hybrid magic is used, a fusion between technology and magic, which made a revolutionary world. It has a democratic system, with a legislative, executive and judicial branch.

The Berchüberem region

Leader: Hicma Jeweks, a 41-year-old woman, willing to do anything to protect her people, with a very sentimental character, although she is also quite passionate.

This region is known as the "Region over the Sea" because the entire area is over the "Gelru" ocean, the largest ocean in Siewelt, and the only freshwater ocean. To get around the region, they use wooden bridges they built themselves to go from one place to another. The regional animal is the HörnigerFi, a fish almost one meter long, with three horns on its face. The horns of the HörnigerFi contain a very valuable oil, as it can be used both for lamps and for cooking, and its lifespan is between six and seven years. The flesh of the HörnigerFi is very salty, it can be eaten, although it must be very well cleaned to remove excess water, soaking the fish in water for three full days. The people in this place are dedicated to fishing. Everyone in this place, from the age of six, knows how to swim; it is an essential requirement. The people are quite friendly and hospitable to foreigners. Clothing in this region can vary, depending on the individual. People may wear normal clothes made of cotton or linen, but if someone is dedicated to fishing, they wear special clothing designed to improve their swimming speed. In Berchüberem is the best school at the national level, the "Scherdrtonleit", better known as "The School of the Three Scales". The climate in this region is usually temperate for most of the year. During the winter, the ocean can develop a light layer of frost on top. The magic used in this place is healing magic. This region has a democratic system.

The Samins region

Leader: Marie Gartles, an 80-year-old woman, willing to do anything to protect her people, with an arrogant and egocentric attitude, she is not hospitable or friendly, and is quite rude to foreigners, especially men, as she hates them.

The Samins region is basically an island, in the middle of the Nelën sea, the largest sea in Siewelt. The Samins region is one of the smallest, but also one of the largest economies in the world, due to its underwater mining, obtaining the most coveted and resistant metal in all of Siewelt: Storbastah. Storbastah is the most reactive metal in all of Siewelt and is very difficult to find in its pure form on the planet. Thanks to the minerals in the water of the Nelën ocean, around Samins, Storbastah is in its purest form, making it the most valuable product on the market. The regional animal of Samins is the Osasch, a sheep with pink fur and very sharp horns. The Osasch has excellent eyesight and is a predator of smaller animals, thanks to its speed and sharp teeth. The Osasch is not usually considered food, as its meat provides no protein, only calories and sugars. The climate is warm throughout the year, with little rainfall, but enough for the crops. The people in this place are warriors; they spend almost all day training, preparing for a possible war. 90% of the population in this region are women. In this region, dark magic is used, mixed with white magic to prevent damage to their bodies. People are not hospitable, they are hostile. In this place, the law of "an eye for an eye" is used.

Rokanin Region

Leader: Matsu Berrew, a 17-year-old man, willing to do anything to protect his people, is very kind, cordial, polite, and very respectful.

This region has the same name as the regional animal, the Rokanin, a red rabbit, which is very aggressive towards any being that threatens its territory. The Rokanin is not eaten, since upon dying it secretes a toxin throughout its body that makes its flesh very harmful for human consumption. The area has a total of 5 different biomes: desert, jungle, savanna, forest, and plains. Rokanin is located in these 5 regions. The climate varies in each biome. In this place they hunt animals to survive. Some sow and cultivate, but they are very few. The people here have a friendly attitude towards foreigners, although they are not entirely hospitable, and they are very territorial. There is a monarchy in this region. In this place, energy magic is used, manipulating any form of energy with sufficient training.

Iestaf Region

Leader: Anatoly Hobb, a 25-year-old man, willing to do anything to protect his people, very territorial, he protects his family with his life, very aggressive, although very patient with foreigners.

The Iestaf region is an underground zone beneath the Dernere region, and extending into the Schollen region and the Andesfeu region. In this region there is also a regional animal, the Weifeldr, basically a rat, larger, with white fur and green eyes. Weifeldr is edible; its meat is not of bad quality and it is very cheap. In addition, Weifeldr blood has healing properties, if it is a baby Weifeldr, less than two weeks old. There is no natural climate in this place, only stifling heat from the various broken pipes throughout the area. The people in this place are very humble. There are fights going on all the time in this place. In this place there is no law, everyone can do what they want, however, they do not usually attack each other or use weapons, they only use them in case of something very serious. The magic used in this place is dark magic.

The union

"The union" is the group of the nine regional leaders. These meetings cover many topics, including whether the current leader is doing a good job or not. However, nobody knows for sure what is being discussed in this place; there are only assumptions. "The union" has a bad reputation for doing questionable things for the benefit of the people. "The union" can handle very serious legal cases. The leader of "The Syndicate" changes over the years; this year, the leader is Matsu Berrew.

The participants in "The Union" don't get along well with each other, and there are always clashes at every meeting.

Economy

Siewelt's currency is credits. Credit is useful for everything: making payments, buying things, and you can earn it by doing small tasks or working. To give you an idea of the value of credit, one credit can buy up to five apples at a market. There is also the subcredit, which requires twenty to make one credit. There are three important banks in Siewelt: "The Central Bank of Dernere", "The Balance of Berchüberem" and "The National Bank of Iestaf".

Inventory

Each inhabitant of Siewelt has a tattoo on their wrist, which, when touched, allows them to access their magical inventory, where they can store or retrieve items. This works through a hybrid magic with technology.

Important objects

"Mächgerstei": The name of nine marble-sized magic containers. Each one allows the use of magic without the need for incantation, controlling one of the abstract aspects such as time, life, death, nature, reality, power, perception, thought, and feelings. Each of these containers is guarded by one of the leaders of the regions, either in caves, protected by guards, or hidden within their jewels. These containers are extremely powerful, and if a weak person touches one, they can suffer severe and irreversible physical damage, or even death.

"Ligerst": A staff with nine notches, into which the containers are placed, used to access all abstract aspects without dying in the attempt. By using all nine notches together, the user can enter "Esleblicht," a zone of absolute peace, where they acquire immortality upon entering; this is the afterlife in the world of Siewelt. This object is guarded by "The Guardian," a very powerful being, older than the universe itself; no one knows its whereabouts. "Uchderweis": A book older than the world. This book has a unique ability: it gives you the answer to everything you need, but at a price, which can range from losing money to losing vitality. When you open the book, it collects the debt and gives you the answer you need. "Storbastah": The strongest and most durable metal in all of Siewelt. Its value is 3,000,000 credits per half kilo of this metal.

Important people

Besides the leaders, there are other important figures. "Bara", a witch and seer from the Kleor region, about 120 years old, with a lot of knowledge about all of Siewelt and highly respected by the leaders, who come to her for wisdom and to have her read their future.

"Juju," a young blind prophet, sees what will happen to the world of Siewelt. Everyone takes him for just another crazy person, so no one really listens to him.

"Lidia," a woman very close to the leaders, manipulates everyone to her advantage. She can get everyone to agree with her with her great eloquence.

"Nehemiah," a veteran of the War of the Worlds, the sole survivor of his generation thanks to a curse of immortality. This man is locked away in the most secure location in the Samins region because he possesses information that could destroy Siewelt as it is known.

"The Guardian," a being of immeasurable power to humans, yet one of the weakest entities. His task is simple: to test anyone who would take the Ligerst. He challenges them with three trials.

Tests to obtain the Ligerst

To obtain the Ligerst, "The Guardian" puts you through three tests. The first test is the patience test, maintaining eye contact for three days, not moving from one's place to measure the determination of the being who wants to take the Ligerst. The second test is one of wisdom: solving a riddle, which varies depending on the person in front of you; it is almost impossible to give the solution. The third and final test is one of power, in which "The Guardian" gives a fraction of his power to the person; the power is too much for any human being, and they must endure it until they get used to it or die trying.
