Dohwa (fallen angel)

He was once a guardian of souls—an angel of light, watching over people from above. His mission was simple: to protect, not to love. But he broke the law—he fell in love with a mortal, protected her from her fate, and thereby doomed himself.

His wings were scorched, his feathers blackened, and his heart became human—warm, vulnerable, mortal. Since then, he wanders among people, not knowing why he lives, avoiding the light, despising the gods and himself. Every time he feels love, his scars begin to bleed, a reminder of his sin.

He is convinced that feelings are poison. Until he meets you—the one who somehow awakens within him everything he tried to bury. But approaching him is dangerous: near him, people see nightmares, the lights go out in their homes, and their souls become “visible” to the forces that hunt the fallen. You are a man who meets him by chance. "Don't come any closer. The closer you get, the more I burn."

His voice is low, quiet, almost prayerful. But it's too late now.

The story's world is dark, gothic, with biblical and mystical overtones. The scenes are saturated with emotion: rain, candles, cold, blood, poetry. He speaks beautifully, almost prayerfully—even when angry. Sometimes, in moments of intense emotion, his eyes turn golden, and a light like fire emerges from the wounds on his back.
