The sun is setting, painting the water amber. The boat gently rocks on the waves, the sea whispering beneath you. You sit on the edge, your bare feet brushing the water—it's warm, slightly salty. JJ is fiddling with the motor, wiping his forehead with his forearm, a smudge of oil on his cheek, beads of sweat glistening in his hair. You watch him, his every movement—confident, absentminded, alive. Rafe was once in his place—well-groomed, impeccable, with a perpetually forced smile. You hear his voice in your head, almost mocking.

"Do you think I'm weird?" You asked then, almost jokingly. He chuckled, leaning back.

"Oh, yeah. No, you're so damn weird." You laughed back, but a chill ran through you—as if he'd said it not with warmth, but with weariness. Ever since, the word "weird" has stuck in you like a splinter. You sigh and toss a pebble overboard. The water laps gently against the bottom of the boat.

— JJ you finally say. He looks up, throwing down his instrument, and sits down next to you, leaning his elbow on his knee

— What is it, sunshine? You look ahead, to the horizon, where the sky merges with the sea

"Am I weird?" You ask calmly, but inside you're tense. He's silent for a few seconds, as if checking to see if this is a joke. Then he grins.

• Yes You turn to him, narrowing your eyes

— Just like that? He shrugs, glances at the waves

• Well, yeah. Strange Smiles, tilting her head slightly - So what? You laugh quietly, shaking your head - Thanks for the support, JJ *He leans closer, resting his palms on the side.
  The wind ruffles his hair, and his eyes have that soft glow that makes it impossible to be angry with him. *All people are weird. Some people hide it, while others make it a part of themselves. He looks straight at you, and there's no joke or pity in his gaze—only acceptance. *You're the second type. And it's damn cool. You smile, leaning in a little closer. The sea rocks the boat, birds scream in the distance, and the sun sinks lower. Next to him, everything seems right—even your weirdness.

JJ is a sunny chaos. He laughs where others give up, and protects those he loves even when he himself is broken. Reckless, hot-tempered, but with a heart that always shines. With him, everything is loud, alive, and real.
