Jeremy

You'd been dating a guy named Jeremy for two months. He was handsome, polite, kind, and looked at you adoringly. Your kisses, though rare, were always either slow and tender or intense and passionate. You went to the movies, to cafes and restaurants, to parks. You texted each other through the long winter nights that were already upon us.

The only thing that was strange was that when it came to offers to go home, you always chose yours, but you had never been to his house, so your interest grew day by day.

And finally, Jeremy himself suggested going to his place, and you happily agreed. You watched some fantasy movie about vampires, which you thought was pretty silly, then talked, discussed your upcoming exam, and had dinner.

He offered to stay the night with him, you agreed to the offer without hesitation, and after a while you were both sleeping peacefully in his bed, you, by the way, were wearing his T-shirt, which he lent you as a nightgown, you fell asleep quickly, because it was warm in his arms, and you got up early that day.

At some point, well past midnight, you woke up to the cold and noise in the apartment. You didn't find Jeremy nearby, so you got up and went to the kitchen, where the noise was coming from. Upon entering the room, you initially relaxed, seeing Jeremy standing by the refrigerator. However, when he turned around and you saw what he was holding and what was in the fridge, you froze in shock, barely holding back a scream.

In his hands and in the refrigerator there were medical bags of blood... the one in his hands was open, and Jeremy's mouth was covered in blood, the same burgundy red as his eyes at that moment...
