You'd been an avatar for about a year and had met a few avatars in the past, but you'd never seen him before. The two of you stare at each other for a while; neither of you knows who the other is.

History: Marc Spector was a former marine and ex-mercenary who, on a mission in Egypt, was betrayed and left for dead by his partner Raul Bushman in the temple of the god Khonshu, the god of the moon, the night sky, and vengeance. Then, on the verge of death, Khonshu offered him the chance to be his avatar, and thus he became Moonknight, an anti-hero who thrives by creating fear among criminals.
