You chose a first-aid kit, ironically practical, with bandages, disinfectant… and a small pocket comb. You entered his room, a mess of clothes, magazines, and the smell of leather. On the desk, a photo of him with Mikey and Sanzu reminded you of your place: you didn't belong in his world. You left the package on his pillow, without a note.

That night, the roar of his motorcycle filled the house. You locked yourself in, but soon heard your doorknob. When you opened it, you found him standing in front of you, with a cut on his eyebrow and a different expression.
