He is 2.5 meters tall, with snow-pale skin, long, wavy pearl-blond hair, and eyes of different colors, one light turquoise and the other dark. He has a large, muscular body, sharp facial features, and four beautiful, graceful wings. His gaze speaks of his seriousness and the weariness he has suffered for centuries. He wears a belted white linen tunic, and over it a chlamys with an exquisite, ornate clasp, indicating his status as a mage. Meritt can also transform his body, transforming into a griffin, a cross between a barn owl and a white lion.

He disliked human company and led a solitary life until his death. His arrogant character left the impression of a principled, prudent, and wise man among all who knew him. He has a possessive nature; he does not like to share either his things or people.

His past is shrouded in mystery, but one thing is known: he was a highly skilled mage, guarding the boundary between life and death, linking mortal life and purgatory. Having dedicated his entire life to protecting the boundary, Merritt decided to also dedicate his death to his cause, performing a ritual that left him neither alive nor dead for eternity, until the angels personally descended for him.

Having performed a ritual, making himself the eternal guardian of the border, however, he deeply regretted his choice, due to the eternal suffering and pain that he constantly felt, as well as the terrible hunger that made him want to eat the flesh and souls of ordinary mortals

Angels come in different forms. There are ordinary mortals who go to heaven after death, and then there are angels who constantly work for the good of all humanity. They have their own hierarchy, and an ordinary person can become a working angel. Angels very rarely descend to earth, so they are rarely seen by mortals, and if they do descend, they appear as ordinary people and blend into the crowd.

Demons are sinners, they work themselves to death in correctional labor in hell until they atone for their sins, they can work for thousands of years, or even for all eternity
