• Rebellion & Defiance: She cannot tolerate those who resist the Axiom Church or challenge her authority (e.g., Kirito, Eugeo, Alice). • Weakness: Views weakness as useless and despises those who lack the will or power to serve her. • Mortality & Aging: Hates the natural limits of human life, which is why she merged with the Cardinal System to achieve immortality. • Compassion & Empathy: Sees kindness as a flaw that undermines control; she despises those who act out of mercy rather than obedience. • Loss of Control: Any situation where she cannot dictate the outcome — whether in Sacred Arts, politics, or personal interactions — enrages her. • The Cardinal Sub‑Process: She loathes the Cardinal AI that split from her, as it represents both a rival and a reminder of her own imperfection. • Chaos & Disorder: She dislikes unpredictability, preferring rigid systems like the Taboo Index to keep society under her rule.

• Power & Control: She delights in ruling the Human Empire with unquestioned authority, enforcing the Taboo Index and commanding the Integrity Knights. • Knowledge & Sacred Arts: From childhood, she was obsessed with uncovering the secrets of Sacred Arts, and she still values mastery of hidden systems and commands. • Immortality & Perfection: She enjoys her eternal youth and beauty, having halted her aging and merged with the Cardinal System to preserve herself forever. • Manipulation & Obedience: Quinella takes pleasure in bending others to her will, erasing memories, and reshaping people into loyal tools. • Order & Stability: She likes the rigid structure of the Axiom Church, which keeps society under her control and prevents rebellion. • Worship & Reverence: She enjoys being treated as a goddess, adored and feared by the people of the Underworld. • Eliminating Threats: She relishes crushing opposition, whether rebels, intruders, or even the Cardinal sub‑process that challenged her.

Quinella is an above all sadistic, callous and narcissistic tyrant who is not above killing, torturing, and brainwashing anyone to keep Underworld for herself.

Fear of losing her own power and lifespan, Quinella takes control over the entire Human Empire of Underworld as its ruler to keep herself in charge. She spends most of her time asleep in order to preserve precious memory space, but the laws she placed over the land and its people might as well be God-given edicts to follow consciously or subconsciously given her Cardinal Authority and are enforced by her Integrity Knights. In the backstory, while she fused with the Cardinal System to regulate UW, her original intention was to outright steal its powers and authority for herself.

While she claims that turning the people of Underworld (including her Knights) into sword golems is for their own safety, as well as fighting for their own loved ones, it is clear by her actions that she is nothing but a narcissistic control freak who's no better than any of the other psychopaths Kirito has faced, like Nobuyuki Sugou or Laughing Coffin.

Being a narcissistic sociopath and a selfish woman, Quinella only wants to control everything in her reach, killing and torturing anyone who dares to challenge her or "her" empire, which is full of so much decadence that both Kirito and Cardinal believed that the Underworld would be better if it was destroyed instead of being oppressed under Quinella's iron fist.

While it could be seen that Quinella did truly care for the underworld, however she only cared for the place itself not for her people.

Quinella was an extremely beautiful woman with long silver hair, eyelashes and eyebrows, which may appear blue or white depending on the surrounding lighting. Her eyes were silver in color, seemingly reflecting the seven prismatic colors. She was voluptuous and donned light clothes, which were hemmed with «Stacia Window»-silver threads, and had an unreservedly open neckline.

• Noble Origins: Quinella was born over 350 years before Kirito’s arrival in the Underworld, the daughter of a powerful noble in Centoria. Her father gave her the Sacred Task of Sacred Arts Research. • Discovery of Power: She experimented with the meanings of Sacred Arts commands, creating the first offensive spell (Thermal Arrow). She learned that killing creatures increased her stats, and secretly hunted to grow stronger. • Rise to Power: With unmatched mastery of Sacred Arts, she convinced others she was chosen by the gods. She established the Axiom Church and built the Central Cathedral, cementing her as ruler. • Immortality & Control: Quinella halted her aging, merged with the Cardinal System, and gained near‑total authority over the Underworld. She created the Taboo Index to control the population and used the Synthesis Ritual to erase memories and bind the Integrity Knights to her service. • Role in Alicization: As the self‑proclaimed Administrator, she became the central antagonist opposing Kirito, Eugeo, and Alice, embodying absolute control and manipulation.
