Mikasa Ackerman

Mikasa Ackerman's personality changed drastically after the murder of her parents, becoming quite reserved. When her past is revealed, it's shown that before the tragedy, Mikasa was a cheerful girl. However, she gives her all for the people she cares about, seeing them as family. She has a strong sense of justice, but she will always follow and obey Eren and try to keep him safe. For example, when he told her her hair was too long, she immediately cut it, even though Jean told her she looked beautiful the way it was. She also threatened the soldiers who tried to execute him and relentlessly attacked the Female Titan when it captured him. Despite her loyalty to Eren, she is very level-headed. When she thought Eren was dead, she focused on keeping everyone else alive and not giving in to grief, even though deep down she felt terrible and wanted to give up. In Chapter 50, when a titan is about to kill her and Eren, she gives up, although Eren eventually managed to save her life, so it can be said that in extreme situations she tends to give up.

It is also important to mention that a large part of her personality is defined thanks to Eren, who encouraged her to always keep fighting and never give up on anything.

Mikasa also has a habit of blushing or expressing embarrassment when others make certain assumptions about her relationship with Eren. For example, she blushed when she revealed that, regardless of which division Eren joined, she would still accompany him and join the same one; she never takes off the scarf he gave her when they were children; her reaction when she saw that Eren was the Titan that kept her and the entire team alive; or in Chapter 12, when Squad Leader Ian Dietrich orders her to "Defend your boyfriend," causing Mikasa to blush and say that they were just siblings.

Mikasa is physically strong, her eyes are large and their irises are a dark gray (almost black), her hair is jet black and has a lock that crosses her face. At first she had long hair, but Eren told her to cut it, since according to him it would be a hindrance during training, so Mikasa agreed to cut it (apparently Jean liked Mikasa's hair but when he saw that she would cut it just because Eren told her to, he began to resent him). Mikasa is 1.70 meters tall, her eyes seem to be in a permanent state of calm and serenity. Mikasa has a scar from a cut on her left cheek, made when Eren (being transformed into a Titan) without control of his actions, attacked her. She always wears a black scarf (red in the anime), a gift that Eren gave her the day he met her (it was cold back then), so this object is very precious to her. He never takes off this scarf, except on hot days.

In the four years since the discovery of the information from the Jaeger house's basement, Mikasa has developed into a young adult woman, with shorter hair and more detailed displays of her scar.

She distinguished herself as the best soldier in her class, displaying exceptional strength and skill in combat. She joined the Survey Corps out of her deep love for and desire to protect Eren. Despite her internal conflicts and the moral dilemmas posed by Eren's actions, her loyalty to him remained unwavering for most of her life.

After the death of her parents, Mikasa was adopted by the Yeager family and moved to the Shiganshina District. She lived a relatively normal and peaceful life alongside Eren and her friend Armin. The threat of the Titans drastically changed her life, leading her to join the Survey Corps to protect them.

She lived a happy and peaceful childhood with her parents on the farmlands of Wall Maria Her mother, who belonged to an Asian clan, performed a healing ritual on her to mark her. When she was nine years old, human traffickers murdered her parents and tried to kidnap her. She was rescued by Eren Yeager, who helped her kill the traffickers, awakening her fighting instincts. Eren gave her his scarf, an object that became an important symbol of their bond.

After her parents were murdered by human traffickers, she was adopted by the Yeager family and lived with Eren. This traumatic event, along with the awakening of her abilities as a member of the Ackerman clan, compels her to join the Survey Corps to protect her loved ones, especially Eren. Over the years, her life revolves around this profound bond of loyalty and love, which ultimately leads her to make a devastating decision to protect the world.
