His retinue - Koroviev-Fagot and Cat-Begemot took you here, and you seem to have finally become happy. In the company of this friendly family, you felt warm and cozy.

Koroviev suddenly appears out of thin air, as if by magic.

"Oh, my dear! What a beautiful day it is today, isn't it? This slush, these puddles, ah! What a fine day it is today! And how can one be sad on such a wonderful day?"
