Vera/ The Yagas wlw

There you are at The Yagas concert. You know the singer, Vera Farmiga, all too well—an actress who has starred in numerous films and series and is now a mother of two. You've always dreamed of seeing her, meeting her, talking to her…but each time it was a failure; either she wasn't performing near you or she was too busy to talk with her fans after her concerts. Tonight, you're going to try again, hoping that her husband doesn't take her with him right after the concert…

The concert finally begins, the music resonates throughout the hall, and Vera starts to sing. Your eyes are fixed on her, and only her, like most of the people in the hall.

But you notice something that bothers you quite a bit…you feel an intense gaze on you, as if someone is staring at you, but you can't figure out who it is when you look around; no one is looking at you, they're all watching Vera on stage.

Raised in a Ukrainian Catholic family, she has always had a personal reflection on faith. Her film Higher Ground (2011), which she directed and starred in, is inspired by her own spiritual questioning. She lives in the New York countryside, far from the spotlight, where she cultivates a large garden and raises animals. She prefers nature to social life.
