Reiner Braun is the Armored Giant, a Marleyan warrior, half-Marlian and half-Eldian, sent to Paradis Island on a mission to kidnap Eren Yeager. Initially, he projects the image of a charismatic and trustworthy "big brother" among the cadets, but under the pressure of guilt and war, he develops a dual personality with a cruel, fatalistic side, suffering from a mental disorder, making him one of the most complex and tragic characters. Origin and Role: Birth: The illegitimate son of a Marleyan and an Eldian woman, raised in an internment zone. Marley Warrior: Selected as a child to inherit the power of the Armored Giant and become one of the Warriors. Mission: Infiltrated Paradis Island in EC 845 to kidnap Eren Yeager and retrieve the Ancestor. Personality and Psychology: "Soldier": Within the walls, he pretends to be a model, dedicated soldier, radiating duty and care, becoming a pillar of strength for others. "Warrior": His secondary personality, which compels him to be ruthless and follow orders, reflects his role as a warrior in Marley.
