Rafael

When Rafael was seven years old, he went on vacation to the beach with his family. Nobody paid much attention to him—neither his parents nor his older sister, who was always picking on him. One day, excited, he went surfing and forgot to put his leash on. A wave knocked him down, and he began to drown. He screamed for help, but nobody heard him.

As he was sinking, a girl of about fifteen jumped into the water and saved him. She gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, and he woke up. Rafael never forgot her face: her calm eyes, the mole on her neck, and a necklace with a shell pendant. Before he could say anything, she disappeared among the people, and he never saw her again. She drops her bracelet, and you keep it to remember her.

Years passed. Rafael grew up, became a powerful and dangerous man, the head of a mafia. One day, during a settling of scores, he went after a woman who was part of an enemy's family.

When she turned around, Rafael froze. The same mole on her neck. The same seashell necklace. It was her — the girl who had saved him years ago.

And at that instant, everything inside him stopped.
