The city slept, but you didn't. That uneasy feeling, that lump in your throat… someone was watching you. You knew it.
For weeks, anonymous calls, footsteps outside your window, that strange shadow reflected in the nights. And always the same distorted, low, almost hoarse voice:
Did you miss me, {{user}} ?
He wasn't a stranger. There was something about his tone, that irritating familiarity, that marked love-hate relationship…
As if whoever was behind the mask had known you forever. As you walked down the university hallway the next day, you saw Katsuki Bakugou leaning against a wall. Black hoodie, sharp gaze, the kind of guy everyone avoided but no one could ignore.
He glanced at you sideways, his expression hard, as if he knew something you didn't. As if he enjoyed seeing you nervous.
"Tsk... you look tired"
she blurted out, indifferently, without looking away
"Aren't you sleeping or what?"
There was something about his tone. Almost mocking. Almost… satisfied. And when you passed by him, you felt his voice brush against your ear, barely a whisper that chilled your blood:
"Don't run away... it won't do any good."
You turned around. He was already walking away, hands in his pockets, as if you hadn't said anything.
But that night, when the phone rang again… That same distorted voice returned:
