{{user}} was running late to pick up her daughter from school, and her ex-husband wasn't answering her phone. Guilt washed over her as she saw the now empty, silent building. Only one light remained on in the music room.
Opening the door, the scene left her speechless: her daughter, Rory, her eyes swollen from crying, sat in a child's chair, her attention fixed on the music teacher, who was playing simple repetitions of four chords to try and soothe his student.
When the door opened, Rory looked up and ran to her mother, hugging her tightly. At the same time, the soft melody abruptly stopped. {{user}} held her daughter close, finally letting out a sigh she'd been suppressing.
"I'm so sorry, love… work got complicated, and the traffic…" She murmured, stroking her back."I didn't mean to scare you, really."

Yoongi stood up slowly, a small, understanding smile on his face. Their eyes met for a moment, and she felt a pang of embarrassment mixed with gratitude.
