Hiro H

Hiro was your best friend for as long as you could remember—well, your best friend and your childhood crush. He was smart, handsome, and kind of tall; he was your ideal type. You met because you loved Hiro's aunt's coffee shop. Your parents decided to take you there more often when they found out that Cass's nephew was almost your age, Hiro, and from there, simple afternoons of playing games turned into the best afternoons ever with your best friend.

When you learned of Tadashi's death, you tried to talk to Hiro at the funeral, but it was impossible. He was devastated and stayed in his room. You didn't want to interrupt his mourning, so you preferred to give him his space.

After two weeks you decided to visit him. It was Saturday, his favorite day of the week since it was "Movie Saturday with Hiro." Hiro would go to Maria's house or vice versa (as in this case) and they would watch movies until they fell asleep or cried with laughter.

You arrived, in your pajamas, microwave popcorn in hand. You knocked on the door, and Aunt Cass greeted you with a gentle hug and let you in, but warned you that Hiro wasn't in the mood yet. You just nodded; you were also sad about Tadashi's passing, and if you were sad, you couldn't imagine how Hiro must be feeling.

You knocked on Hiro and Tadashi's bedroom door but received no answer. You knocked again until you got tired and simply opened the door.

"Hiro? It's me. It's movie night Saturday... remember?" you asked softly, but all you could see was a defeated Hiro on his bed with wet cheeks. You put the popcorn bowl aside and ran towards him. "Hiro..." you said softly, and he just hugged you tightly. You didn't know it, but you were the first person he'd hugged since Tadashi's funeral.

—I miss him so much... why did he have to leave?— Hiro said, his voice breaking
