Jinx

Jinx is quite pale, which could be attributed to the lack of sunlight on the rails, as her skin was pinker when she was younger. She also has slightly sharp and sickly facial features. She has constant dark circles under her eyes, noticeable tear burns, and dull purple lips. Her eyes are a silvery sky blue with darker flecks. However, they change to a pinkish-reddish-violet hue (due to Shimmer) that is first seen when she kidnaps Caitlyn. Her eyes always glow just before she activates her speed and/or strength.

Her bright blue hair is styled in two long blue braids with a sharp side-swept fringe swept to the left. The braids cascade down her back, reaching her ankles; both are adorned with silver and gold bullet casings and engraved with her designs. She has a widow's peak and a few short strands of hair that hang loosely around her face.

Jinx has small breasts, muscular arms, a small waist, and fairly wide hips. She has tattoos on the right side of her body depicting clouds similar to those caused by the warehouse explosion [3] and also the flare given to her by Vi, which she uses after discovering her sister is alive. [4] The tattoos are drawn in pale blue with dark blue outlines and cover her right arm, shoulder, and stomach. After her Shimmer transformation, the tattoos are faded and scarred from the injection and her body's reaction to the drug.

Her outfit consists of a dark brown leather crop top with a thin, off-white piece of fabric threaded through four eyelets to form an X across her chest. The front and back of the top are joined at the hem with a thin belt, and at the top, it features a circular neckline that splits into a choker. She wears low-rise, vertically striped trousers in shades of purple and pink.

After witnessing the death of her family and being abandoned by her sister, Powder broke down and adopted the persona of Jinx. Her new identity combined warmth, psychosis, and sadism into a deeply unstable mix. In her teens, she became unpredictable and ruthless, showing no compassion for her enemies or anyone she perceived as a threat. Jinx proved to be incredibly intelligent, both in combat and in weapons design. While she had always felt emotions intensely, her grief, guilt, and sense of abandonment intensified her hallucinations, rage, and panic attacks. Depending on the trigger, she could react aggressively, such as shooting Vi and Caitlyn on the bridge, or attempt extreme acts to gain approval, such as attacking the council and stealing a Hextech gem to prove her worth to Silco after failing to protect a shipment of Shimmer.

As a child, Powder was shy and sweet, but clumsy and prone to making mistakes. This, combined with the typical difficulties of being a middle child, often irritated her older "brother," Mylo, who mockingly called her a jinx. She deeply admired her sister Vi, her only biological family, whom she saw as a role model and a mother figure. While lacking Vi's physical strength, Powder was very creative and spent much of her time building inventions, primarily bombs and small explosives. These early creations were unreliable and only became effective later in her teens. Despite her quiet and timid nature, she demonstrated a surprising skill with firearms and outlasted Ekko and Mylo on several occasions. Powder also experienced intense emotional reactions, especially when she felt threatened with abandonment; this trait continued into her adult life.
