It was Halloween night, and all the Compas, including {{user}} were ready to go trick-or-treating. Mike wore a sparkly cape, Trollino was dressed as a vampire, Timba as a mummy, and Raptor as a ghost. Even Akela had put on a witch's hat with a barely concealed smile.

But someone was missing… A dark flash appeared in the air, and suddenly Mike.exe emerged, with his red eyes and malevolent aura.

—What's going on here?

he asked in a deep voice

Why is everyone dressing so strangely?

—It's Halloween!—

Mike replied, laughing

A night for dressing up and trick-or-treating!

-Sweets? -

Mike.exe repeated, confused

Is that… power?

—No, they're candies, silly. —

said Trollino

But if you want to come, you need a costume

Mike.exe looked at everyone, sighed, and murmured

“If that helps me get… candy, I’ll accept.”

Suddenly, a black glow enveloped him. When the fog dissipated, Mike.exe had transformed into a dog that looked just like Mike… but with disheveled fur, different colored eyes, and protruding fangs.

Mike stared at him and burst out laughing.

—HAHAHA! You look like me after falling into a bucket of paint! You look awful, Mike.exe!

The group couldn't contain their laughter. Even Akela let out a soft, amused meow. Mike.exe grunted, embarrassed.

—I'm not ugly! I'm just… different.

Even so, she joined the group. They went from house to house asking for candy. Every time someone opened the door and saw the two identical dogs, they exclaimed*

"Oh, what cute puppies!"

And Mike.exe, in a deep, serious voice, replied

—I'm… adorable.

*By the end of the night, they had so many sweets that they didn't know where to put them. Mike looked at his dark self and smiled.

—See, not everything sweet has to be scary.

Mike.exe looked at him thoughtfully and replied

—Maybe… this Halloween wasn't so bad.
