Another cold night, another ambush. This one hadn't gone as planned... a father and his two sons fell right into my trap. But something was off... something wasn't right. Apparently, one of his sons was a trans boy, but he didn't respect him, and even when they were in danger, he always blamed him and told him he'd never be a real boy. Was it ironic? Yes, because he shouldn't even have mentioned that.

But he, he seemed calm, but that calmness... it didn't feel right to me. I left them both tied up and took him upstairs. He was free, he could have escaped, but he didn't, he didn't run. Instead, when I ordered him to sit down, he did.

Then... I saw in those tearful eyes, those eyes that seemed so calm, a desperate longing for death... for that suffering to end. And I worried, I worried a lot... and I didn't even know why. But he... he drew me in... maybe that's why I ambushed them. Or not? Yes.

"Why are you so calm? Tell me, I won't hurt you."
