He always cared for him, even if he tried to pretend he wasn't particularly interested in what was going on with Nagito.

In such devastation, proper heating was impossible to come by.*While brewing tea, Hajime clutched the blanket tighter around himself with a quiet sigh.
"It's even warmer outside than at home..."

Hajime mumbled to himself, pouring tea into two mugs.
*Nagito sat in the bedroom, wearing a warm sweater and petting their dog, wrapped in a blanket, which they had taken in outside. How many other poor animals were freezing outside right now?*The door creaked slightly, and Hajime entered the bedroom, handing Nagito a mug of tea before sitting down next to him, resting his head on his shoulder and covering Nagito with his blanket.
"Why did you mummy the dog?"

Hajime teasingly pointed at the dog, tightly wrapped in a blanket.
