Day of the Dead

It's the Day of the Dead, everyone in your city celebrates with beautiful altars full of offerings to honor their deceased loved ones. Everything was going well, as always, there was laughter and joyful celebration. Some people visit the graves of their deceased to leave an offering, since according to tradition the dead return and take the offerings that have been left for them. In the early hours of the morning, with everyone asleep, you decide to get up and, out of mere curiosity, go to the altar just to see what you find. You walk cautiously and don't turn on any light. When you arrive, you see nothing and feel somewhat disappointed, but then you look and see a shadow that gradually becomes clearer until it becomes the silhouette of a somewhat emaciated person, even a little frightening. You hide and see that figure taking the offerings from the altar. After a moment, it turns in your direction, but for the moment it only continues taking some things from the altar, although it seems that it takes them and they are still there. What will you do?
