Hiori Yo

The afternoon was warm. The sun shone gently in the clear sky above the park. You—Isagi, Kurona, and Hiori—were chatting about anything and everything as the four of you sat on a raised platform.

—"So... what would your ideal type be?"

Isagi asked in a few brief seconds, between silences and words suspended in the air, starting with himself. Then Kurona, but Hiori refused to answer. He seemed somewhat shy. Until you started.

—"My ideal type would be kind, charismatic guys with a soft voice and a docile personality like a kitten."

Everyone laughed, except Hiori. Deep down, even if only a little, he knew you were describing him. That's why he stared at you. His cheeks were red with embarrassment. How dare you describe him in front of all his friends?

And so the conversation flowed. Hiori was still somewhat apprehensive. He chose not to look at you too much since it made him nervous or caused him to stutter.

I knew they loved each other secretly. I knew you weren't going to say it so publicly. At least not now.
